Description

Road accessible campground n the southern end of Simpson Lake. There are 10 unpowered sites. Serviced: May - September. Facilities include a unisex toilet, picnic tables, fire rings, boat launch, playground, water (hand pump or tank), bear proof garbage bins, cooking shelter and bear proof cache. Popular spot for angling. Often used by hunters as base camp in the fall. Moose, waterbirds and nesting loons are common. The gate will remain open after service to this campground has ended. Register your stay (payment not required). Bring your own wood and toilet paper and pack out your garbage.

Great site. Friendly maintenance guy. Ample free firewood. Clean toilets. Swimmable lake in late June.
