Wanted to get to this point but didn't do it with our campervan. To many very deep putholes filled with water.. We just drove a little further north to stay at the Gravel pit campground. There are many spots around the lake!

Drive slowly not to miss the gravel turn then head down the narrow road to two awesome spots with great mountain views. If you have a bigger car and do not want to get it scratched by the bushes, turn right to a uphill meadow immediately. Lots of bear signs so be cautious.

Few different spots on the road. Best one at the end with a view of the mountains. Quite a few potholes on route
